Lola King is a busy mother of two, owner of a two German Shepherds, wife, volunteer, business owner, and constant student in the world of aromatherapy. She found her calling years ago in helping others in small ways and continue to do so through her essential oil company, Be Kind Botanicals.
Lola is an active business member and advocate for the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). Currently she is volunteering as an Arizona State Co-Representative for AIA.
Lola is a Registered Aromatherapist (RA) from the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) and has completed over 500 hours of essential oil/aromatherapy training.
Her training includes:
She started her first essential oil business in the Fall of 2013 and has continued to slowly grow it using an ethical, honest, and kind approach. In 2017, she re-branded her essential oil company to Be Kind Botanicals, Inc.
With a passion for doing things “the right way,” she sources some of the best essential oils and hydrosols directly from artisan distillers all over the world. She does this by scrutinizing the organoleptics and chemistry, while considering the sustainability of the essential oils she sources. She also tests every single batch to verify purity before releasing them to the public, which is no small feat for any business.
Her vision or mission for Be Kind Botanicals is simple. She wants Be Kind Botanicals to be seen as a beacon of truth, integrity and kindness toward every living thing, human and plant alike because kindness, transparency, and sustainability matter.
