Avocado Oil, Organic
Avocado oil is a highly-penetrating and deeply nourishing oil that can soften dry skin. It is excellent blended with other carrier oils and/or essential oils because of this. Our avocado oil is a virgin, cold pressed, and unrefined oil that has a myriad of uses including assisting in the appearance of chapping, cracked skin, and is highly moisturizing! It has also been known to be used to aid in the appearance of reducing inflammation on the skin.
Because this oil has a high percentage of Vitamin D, it can be useful for individuals that live in low sunshine areas. A little over sixty percent of its composition is Oleic acid which makes avocado oil richer and heavier and lends itself to being perfect for dry skin!
Personal note: This oil has a very rich beautiful feel that some individuals feel is "heavy." I have used this oil and found it to be a wonderful addition to my beauty regimen to assist in the appearance of decreasing aging. It is a deep emerald-green color with a thick and rich texture that is perfect for sensitive skin. I find that it penetrates the skin very well and offers a lot of moisturization when formulated in cleansers and other skincare preparations.
