Aroma: This a wonderful warm, peppery essential oil that has some nice woody undertones.
Personal notes: I just love using this oil during the holidays in warming blends or those that support circulation. I have found that this particular essential essential oil can assist in appearing to reduce pain related concerns. For this reason I use it in my Muscle Relief blend. It can also be helpful during cold and flu season.
Safety Data: This essential oil is considered to be a irritating oil and should be used at no more than 1% topically. Often when blended, the same effective results can be achieved with 0.5% dilution ratios.
Usage idea: Try this recipe for a warming topical blend.
- 2 drops Copaiba
- 1 drop Black Pepper
- 1 tablespoon jojoba
Energetic qualities: Uplifts mood with its warm, spicy aroma and can be somewhat energizing offering a warmth and protectiveness to your core.
Recommended applications: Topical application using safe dilution ratios and diffusing.
