Latin Name: Citrus sinensis

Aroma: Oh, the heavenly sweet aroma of oranges! This essential oil is serene, soft, sweet, fresh, and holds a lot of fruity and citrus notes. It is a wonderful addition for a top note to many blends. It is an aroma that excitedly shares its happiness. I personally can't help but smile when working with this essential oil.

Blends with: Black Pepper, Citrus Oils, Roman Chamomile, Cinnamon bark, Clary Sage, Clove, Cypress, Geranium, Ginger, Alligator Juniper, Lavender, Red Mandarin, Sweet Marjoram, Nutmeg, Patchouli, Petitgrain bigarade, Mandarin Petitgrain, Scotch Pine, Rose absolute, Rosemary ct cineole, Spearmint, Virginia Cedarwood, Vetiver, and Ylang Ylang.

Energetic Qualities: Unblocks and circulates stagnant energy, soothes nerves, calms those reluctant to ask others for help, anti-pessimistic.

Recommended applications: Diffuse, topical application using safe dilution ratios, steam inhalation.

Aromatherapist notes: I love using orange essential oil when I making digestive support blends. In general, it is a fantastic oil that is bright, uplifting, and adds a happy note to many emotional support blends.

Safety Data: Non-toxic, though it may cause skin irritation if oxidized. Use in low dilution (1-2%) when applying to the skin.

Other considerations:

  • This essential oil has a high potential for oxidation and should be stored in a cool and dark area in a sealed container.
  • Do not place on broken skin.
